Cool Sunday morning

Overcast and damp, lovely.  Peach, banana, blueberry pancakes to start the day.  Birding at the lake yesterday, herons, kingfishers, geese, ducks and turkey vultures.

Lightning and thunder, 6 am

A noisy, strong storm rolled thru early this morning, and I rolled over and went back to sleep.  The cat came in for company later on when my son was up before me opening up the house to the cooler air.  Still hand-quilting the 150th anniversary quilt, may be a couple more weeks until the finish.

A raspberry, lavender, and cerulean sunrise, yummy.  And more yums, blueberry, banana, orange pancakes coming up.

Peach waffles were a hit, the rain is gone the skies are clearing the humidity much better, hooray!

Recent riddles

Lately I have been getting some mixed messages, received an email test that said, to let them know if I did not receive the email, ba-dum-tum.  Working on preparing a cross-stitch project yesterday the instructions said I could find the right side of the fabric where the indentations were more raised between the scallops, ba-dum-tum.  All a bit puzzling, at least for me.
