This morning, we woke up to a gritty, half frozen to the walk coating of "something". Not sure I would exactly call it snow. I think the term used by the weather people around here is "wintry mix".
It is kind of sandy, a bit like prepared bread crumbs as a cooked coating, a bit grainy and hard to remove. And underneath it all is slightly treacherous footing, so all in all a good day to stay in, do the laundry, quilt, cook, clean the frig, plan new projects; tomorrow... maybe an outing. Do hope things melt before I go out for my evening meeting!
